Seven years ago LeEllen and I set out to pursue a vision God had given us of seeing a unique, vibrant, spiritual community birthed that would
empower people from all walks of life to pursue a life changing
relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. During these seven
years we have had our hearts knitted together with some of the most
amazing people in the world and have seen the grace of God perform the
miraculous in all our lives.
My walk with the church family at Redemption Church is a privilege
that I will treasure always. However I am at a time when I must
devote my energies and resources to pressing needs in my family and in
my own spiritual life. As a result I am stepping away from ministry
and focusing on these priorities.
I want to thank the church family at Redemption Church for their love,
support, and for partnering with us to see this unique vision come
into being. I have every confidence that through their faithfulness
and with the Godly leadership that is present they will fulfill the
destiny God has for them. I will rejoice with every victory that
comes to this group of exceedingly precious people and celebrate to
see the work of God continue and flourish.
To say that the Redemption church family was blessed to have had the leadership of the Burgess family the past seven years would be an understatement. The investment made by them will continue to bring returns in the Kingdom, even into eternity. We pray God’s best for them, and that His leadership and guidance will direct their path. We thank them for their service, and we will continue to pursue the vision cast and live out daily the spiritual guidance we received through preaching and teaching.

It’s one of our favorite Sundays of the year! Don’t get us wrong we love every time we come together and celebrate Christ, but there is something that makes Friend’s Day sospecial! Maybe it’s the CLASSY promos (See below).. Maybe it’s the creative presentation of the Gospel.. Maybe it’s the awesome food.. All those make the day great, but what we really love is to see the people of Redemption Church bring their friends! We love this! Continue reading
